It's that time of year, ...fall has arrived, bringing with it fresh trends that are perfect for the season’s cozy stylish vibe.

This year’s looks are all about comfort with a touch of boldness, making it easy to transition your wardrobe from summer to fall with flair.

Let’s dive into the must-try fashion trends for Fall 2024:

1. Blazers Are Back

Blazers are dominating fall fashion again, whether it’s the oversized look, the structured hourglass silhouette or the colorful textured type, blazers take center stage this fall.

Anyone who has worked with me knows how much I love this wardrobe staple. Blazers strike the perfect balance between casual and polished.

Rich autumn hues like burgundy, deep brown, olive green, and camel are ideal for adding a touch of sophistication to your fall wardrobe.

Style Tip: Pair your favorite blazer with jeans or tailored pants for an effortlessly chic look.

2. Suede Everything

Suede is having a major moment in Fall 2024. From jackets to boots and even skirts, suede adds a luxe texture to any outfit.

Burgundy and warm brown shades are the standout colors this fall season, giving off that cozy, autumn vibe.

Style Tip: A suede jacket or pair of boots in burgundy or brown tones will instantly elevate your wardrobe.

3. Leopard Print

Leopard print is roaring back into style this season.

Whether it’s a bold leopard-print coat, skirt, shoes or a bag, this pattern brings a playful edge to your fall outfits.

Style Tip: The key to mastering the leopard print trend is keeping the rest of your look neutral—think black, brown, or beige—to let the print do the talking.

4. Colorful Leather

Leather is always a fall staple, but this season it’s getting a colorful upgrade.

From jackets to pants dresses and skirts, colored leather is everywhere.

Style Tip: Olive green, rich burgundy, and caramel leather pieces are the way to go if you want to stand out while staying on-trend. It’s a perfect mix of edgy and autumnal.

5. Denim-on-Denim

Denim-on-denim is everywhere this fall season.

The best part about this trend is that you probably already have the pieces hanging in your closet. You can mix and match different denim washes or keep it monochrome—it’s versatile enough for casual days or weekend outings.

Style Tip: If you want to try out the denim-on-denim trend, pair a structured denim jacket with darker, high-waisted jeans for a sleek, modern look.

6. Statement Outerwear

Your outerwear makes a big impact in the cooler months, and Fall 2024 is all about making a statement with your coat.

Choose classic plaid prints or neutrals with embellishments. Don't forget to have fun with the silhouettes: think chic capes, funnel neck trenches, barn jackets and cropped leather jackets.

Style Tip: Try adding a belt on the outside of your coat to add an unexpected touch of luxury to your look.

7. Cardigans

Cardigans are back in a big way this fall, but they’re not the frumpy styles of yesteryear. This season’s cardigans are stylish and ladylike, the perfect layer for cooler temperatures.

Chunky knit cardigans tossed over the shoulder are especially on trend this season and will add a touch of flair to any fall outfit.

Style Tip: Look for cardigans in rich autumn shades like mustard, olive, or rust, and pair them with anything from jeans to dresses for that cozy, layered look.

8. Wide-Leg Trousers

Wide-leg trousers are the perfect combination of comfort and style.

Whether for the office or a casual day out, these flowy pants look great paired with a fitted turtleneck, hourglass blazer or a classic button down shirt.

Style Tip: Invest in wide-leg trousers in earthy tones like rust, camel, or chocolate brown- they are perfect for fall.

9. Western Inspired Boots

Western inspired boots are an absolute must for fall.

Whether you go for leather or suede, these boots are incredibly versatile. Pair them with dresses, skirts, or jeans for a sophisticated look that works for both day and night.

Style Tip: Deep browns, basic black and wine tones are key, but you can also go bold with a burgundy or leopard print option.

There you have it...This fall is all about embracing cozy textures, bold prints, and rich colors to make a statement while staying comfortable.

Summer is finally here, and you know what that means—time to pack your bags and hit the road for some well-deserved fun in the sun!

Whether you’re heading to a tropical paradise, a charming coastal town, or just taking a staycation with plenty of pool time, packing the right stuff can make or break your vacation.

But no worries, I’ve got you covered with a guide to packing for summer vacation.

It’s a tried-and-tested formula of interchangeable wardrobe pieces that actually work and are effortless.

This vacation packing guide will help take the stress out of packing so you can look forward to your trip!

Swimwear

  • Bikinis: Two bikinis that can be mixed and matched for endless beach looks.

  • One-Pieces: A one-piece that is perfect for those chic poolside photos and can even be used as part of an outfit when paired with linen pants, shorts or skirts. (If bikinis aren't your thing, pack three one-pieces).

  • Cover-Ups: Two coverups either a breezy linen button-down, crochet dress or sarong for an easy transition from beach to brunch.

Outfits

  • Dresses: One or two flowy sundresses for daytime exploring and two fancier options for nights out.

  • Shorts and Skirts: One or two lightweight shorts and a versatile skirt for pairing with your favorite tops (make sure these can be dressed up or down for day or night).

  • Linen Pants: Nothing screams vacation mode quite like a pair of breezy linen pants, especially a wide leg pair!

  • Tops: Three tops: think textured tank tops, tops with interesting detail, and/or breezy linen blouses to wear with your linen pants, shorts, skirt or sarong.

  • Jacket, Blazer or Sweater I always pack a denim jacket for vacation (it can be worn with anything and changes up your look) but if denim isn't your thing, make sure to pack a light jacket, blazer or sweater that you can pair with dresses, shorts, pants or skirts when it gets chilly at night.

Footwear

  • Sandals: Two pairs: one for walking and one for showing off (neutral and metallic sandals go with everything!).

  • Flip-Flops: A pair of flip-flops is essential for the beach or pool.

  • Sneakers: For those days when you’ll be doing a lot of walking or exploring, remember to pick a pair that compliment your dresses and skirts!

Accessories

  • Sunglasses: A must! Two pairs: stylish and protective. Why not bring a couple of pairs to compliment your many different vacation looks?

  • Hats: A wide-brimmed hat or cute baseball cap to shield your face from the sun is a vacation necessity.

  • Jewelry: Keep it simple and beach-friendly—think layered necklaces, pearls and/or hoop earrings.

  • Belt: Belts are the ultimate of the moment summer accessory that can change up your vacation looks (try one in raffia or classic tan leather).

  • Large Tote : A large bag that fits all your beach day necessities.

  • Shoulder Bag: A cross-body bag for daytime exploring or night-time dinners.

Pro Packing Tips:

  • Stick To Neutrals: Keep your color palette neutral to ensure that you can mix and match all your pieces. Try to add one pop of color for fun!

  • Roll, Don’t Fold: Rolling your clothes saves space and reduces wrinkles.

  • Packing Cubes: These are a game-changer for keeping everything organized.

There you have it! With this vacation packing guide you’re all set to pack like a pro and enjoy a fabulous summer vacation.

Remember, the key to a great trip is being prepared, but also leaving a little room for spontaneity and fun.

So pack your bags, grab your sunnies, and get ready to make some unforgettable memories.

Let me know if you need help with your vacation packing, I’m here for you!

Happy travels & stay stylish!
